somehow, suddenly I was very interested in the article that I found on yahoo. This article discusses the discovery in space which is very surprising. FYI, from the beginning I was very fond of the science of astronomy, even i was suprised why I get stuck in this major, tough. well, off to the main topic.
1. collisions between galaxies
I read on the article that actually the galaxy andromeda "walk" coming toward our galaxy, the bima sakti galaxy. so the experts say that the 3 billion years later, the galaxy will collide like what it simulated.
2. Mini Black Hole
i dont know if black hole has a mini size and a big one. lil bit funny but really surprising. it says that mini black hole is the remnants of the Big Bang and affect space and time in different ways
3. the biggest star
its name is VY Canis Majoris . this star's size between 1800 and 2100 solar radii, is the largest known star and also one of the brightest star. it's this real? because i see it not like a star. too much beautiful!
4. the biggest comet.
Initially, I only know a few names of comets. beside because I had never seen in person, for me the comet was not too exciting. but, it changes since I know this comet. the unique is this is the biggest comet with a diameter of 182 km. imagine! how big it would be. Unfortunately, this is only passing between Saturn and Uranus.
5. the biggest nebula
yes! I am one person who does not know what nebula is. but look! after seeing the beautiful pictures, I became curious and wanted to know more about nebula. apparently according to wikipedia, the nebula is just a bunch of hot clouds. but how can hot clouds can form a beautiful picture like that?
